The path begins with a sankalp (formal resolve) and Ganesh-Gauri pujan, after which the Manas is opened and read continuously in relay by a team of pandits, each shift overlapping so the recitation is never broken. The path concludes with Aarti, Hanuman Chalisa and prasad vitran.पाठ का आरंभ संकल्प तथा गणेश-गौरी पूजन से होता है, तत्पश्चात मानस को खोलकर पंडितों की टीम द्वारा बारी-बारी से निरंतर पाठ किया जाता है, प्रत्येक पारी अगली से मिलती है ताकि पाठ कभी न टूटे। पाठ का समापन आरती, हनुमान चालीसा एवं प्रसाद वितरण से होता है।
