Maa Vindhyavasini Gurukul aur Anushthan Kendra was founded in Ujjain — the ancient city where, tradition holds, Bhagwan Krishna and Balram themselves studied under Guru Sandipani — with a single purpose: to keep Vedic learning and correct ritual practice alive and accessible, both for the students who come to study and the families who come seeking a pooja performed exactly as shastra prescribes.मां विंध्यवासिनी गुरुकुल एवं अनुष्ठान केंद्र की स्थापना उज्जैन में हुई — वह प्राचीन नगरी जहां परंपरा के अनुसार स्वयं भगवान कृष्ण एवं बलराम ने गुरु सांदीपनि के सान्निध्य में शिक्षा प्राप्त की थी — एक ही उद्देश्य के साथ: वैदिक शिक्षा एवं सही अनुष्ठान विधि को जीवंत तथा सुलभ बनाए रखना, चाहे वह अध्ययन हेतु आने वाले विद्यार्थी हों या शास्त्रोक्त विधि से पूजा चाहने वाले परिवार।
Our Gurukul in Ujjain takes in Brahmin students for residential study of the Vedas, Sanskrit grammar, Karmakand and allied sciences, under the daily guidance of resident Acharyas. Life inside the Gurukul follows the dinacharya of a traditional ashram — waking before sunrise for sandhya vandan, structured hours of path and adhyayan, and participation in the anushthans performed at the Kendra, so that learning is never only theoretical. Alongside this, our Anushthan Kendra serves the wider public — families in Ujjain and across India who call on us for havans, sanskars, grah shanti poojas and shraddh rites.
